I believe that therapy is about two things: genuine connection and meaningful insight. My approach is rooted in psychodynamic therapy, which means I help you explore the deeper layers of your experience. When we truly understand ourselves—our patterns, emotions, and past experiences—we gain the freedom to make real, lasting change. My experience in inpatient psychiatric settings while completing my doctoral training at George Washington University strengthened my understanding of longstanding mental health challenges and how they intersect with deeper internal dynamics.

I also recognize that who we are is shaped by more than just our internal world—our identities, cultures, and experiences in the larger world matter. The intersectionality of identities plays a critical role in mental health, influencing how we see ourselves, others, and the world. I strive to create a space where all aspects of who you are feel acknowledged and valued. While my foundation is psychodynamic, I also integrate other modalities as needed (ACT, DBT, CBT), tailoring my approach to you.

Therapy doesn’t have to feel stiff or intimidating. If you’re looking for someone who will support you with warmth, honesty, and a little humor along the way, I’d love to connect.

Comprehensive Assessments

In addition to therapy, I also provide psychological and psychoeducational evaluations for concerns such as ADHD, learning differences and disorders, emotional and personality functioning, and other cognitive and psychological challenges. A thorough assessment can offer clarity, guidance, and practical recommendations to help you or your child navigate school, work, and daily life more effectively.
